Which barcode should I use?

Code 128 for your own stock, asset and shipping labels. It holds letters and numbers and every scanner reads it.
EAN-13 / UPC-A for products sold in shops. The numbers must come from GS1, your country's barcode authority. Type 12 digits (11 for UPC) and the check digit is added for you.
ITF-14 for outer cartons of products.
Lines that don't fit the chosen type (wrong length or characters) are listed so you can fix them.
