Why not just open the CSV in Excel?
- Excel drops leading zeros (zip code 02134 becomes 2134) and turns long numbers like card or tracking IDs into 1.23E+15. This converter keeps them as they are.
- Accents and symbols often show up garbled when Excel guesses the wrong encoding. Here the encoding is detected for you.
- Dates are kept exactly as written, so 03/04 never silently swaps day and month.
- Going the other way, "UTF-8 that opens correctly in Excel" adds a small marker so Excel shows accents properly.
