How to compare PDFs
- Drop the old PDF on the left and the new one on the right. For many documents, drop a folder on each side: files with the same name are compared.
- Press Compare. Removed words are
red and crossed out; added words are green. - Download a report of all the differences to share or keep.
🔒 Your PDFs are read by your own browser and are never uploaded to our server.
Good to know
- This compares the text. Changes to pictures, colours or layout aren't shown.
- Scanned PDFs have no text to compare. Run them through PDF to Text with OCR first.
- Text that only moved to another page is shown as unchanged.
