Tips for great GIFs
- Keep it short. 2 to 6 seconds is ideal. Use Start at and End at to pick the best part.
- Smaller files: lower the width, use 10 frames per second or fewer, and 128 colours. Many chat apps and email services limit GIFs to around 10 MB.
- Bounce makes a seamless loop from any clip, great for product spins and reactions.
- Phone videos: iPhone videos saved as HEVC may not open in Chrome or Firefox on Windows. Choose "Most Compatible" in Settings โ Camera โ Formats, or use Safari.
Frames to images
Save a still every second (or any interval), a set number of pictures spread evenly across each video, or every single frame. You get a ZIP with a folder per video, and file names that include the time, such as clip_00m05.0s.jpg.
๐ Your videos are processed by your own browser and are never uploaded.
